Soul-stice Dance Journey/Jay & Felix
SAT December 20
7-9:30 pm

Cost: $10-$20 suggested offering

15Out of the darkness comes the light, out of the stillness, the dance…

For many world cultures, the Solstice is the true new year as the ritual marker to truly let go, honor and bring closure to the past year and ignite our deepest visions and intentions for the coming year as the light emerges.

As our own part of nature, our bodies are intimately connected with the solar rhythm, so an embodied ritual offers us a powerful opportunity to align and be in harmony with the greater flow. While the outer world moves in a holiday flurry, this dance ritual allows you to dive into the deeper rhythm of inner renewal, of finding lightness in your own experience.

No previous dance experience is necessary, just a willingness to allow yourself to be moved by the music.

We will begin with silent meditation, and from the stillness let the dance emerge. We will then come back to stillness and reconnect with a collective candle-lighting ceremony to welcome back the light.

Hosted by Jay Fields and Felix Roth. Please let us know if you’d like to come! We want to make sure there’s space for everyone…..

Cost: $25 pre-registration/payment.  $30 at the door.

In the way of the Shamanic tradition, Dagmar will lead you through a sound journey to help release blocks and discordant energies, restore a sense of wholeness and well-being and connect you with your own inner guidance.

Through the sound of her voice, Shamanic tools and instruments such as drums, rattles and singing bowls, rituals unfold that awaken your heart’s intelligence and serve as a gateway to transformation and awareness.

Dagmar focuses her practice on the integration of mind, body and spirit by helping individuals understand their greater potential through the clearing of old patterns, attachments and energies that no longer serve them.

Trained in Shamanic work, sound healing, Spiritual Response Therapy and Reiki, Dagmar helps individuals come into balance and connect more deeply to their soul’s path. Feel free to contact Dagmar for more information at 503.490.3671 or hallowed_sounds@earthlink.net

Yin Yoga & Sound Healing/Jay, Tom & Jen
SUN December 28
4-6:30 pm

Cost: $25 pre-registration/payment, $30 at the door.

Jay FieldsAn evening of total relaxation and healing resonance… Tom and Jen will bring their orchestra of healing chimes, singing bowls, and didgeridoos and play while we ease into an hour and a half of Yin Yoga followed by an hour-long sound healing in savasana.

You are invited to relax and to let the vibrations of the sound waves ease into your body and find their own way to the spots that need it the most.

Yin yoga is a totally restorative form of yoga in which you stay in supported seated or supine poses for a few minutes at a time while all of your body-mind’s holding patterns melt away. It’s perfect for people who are new to yoga and the perfect balance for yang-centered practices.

From Jay: Among the many amazing pieces of feedback I received from participants after last week’s sound healing:

I’ve been having chronic back pain for a few months–having the time to be with my body in a healing way for a few hours was the best thing that I have done for my body in a long time. My back feels great!

My spirit just started soaring in the middle of the sound healing–and it is still soaring!
